As most of the developed world gets ready for the Easter break, spare a thought for those to whom today is just another day in a struggle for survival and progress.
For a lot of children, an Easter chocolate bunny is only a fantasy.
This is not about feeling guilty or detracting in any way from your own enjoyment of this time.
As Easter is also a religious period for so many people, this is the perfect time to reflect on what we can do for others in the coming months and year.
With the growing worldwide concern and awareness of social injustice, global warming and our endangered planet, this really is time to take stock of how we can share and ensure that chocoate bunnies are shared equally in the years to come.
As more and more people become personally socially responsible, I really believe that the time is almost here when the world becomes more socially just, caring and fair.
Everyone of us can do our bit by just showing a little more compassion and kindness to those around us, both locally and globally.
Everything we do makes a difference.
Happy Easter everyone:-)

Arvind,
I can sit here in the comfort of my home (and I’m sure there is a chocolate bunny or two around here somewhere) – and feel blessed for all that I have (esp. in comparison to some parts of our world). And your reminder here today…well, it reminds me that – as blessed as I am – what am I doing for others who aren’t as fortunate??
…and that one reaches to my soul…
Thanks so much for all that you share, for the gifts this space provides, and for today’s reminder about our world…one in which we’re all connected to…
Happy Easter.
Lance, welcome to my blog again.
We are all indeed really blessed. By being aware of this, we also become open to ideas and opportunities to make a difference to others.
May you and I connect with other like minded souls here and make the contribution that we are all meant to make to others.
Happy Easter to you too:-)
